Received two rackets today both Dunlop 115 VCS both rackets are at least 8 years old.
The customer asked for the rackets to be tested and then balanced the same (if possible)
I asked which racket was the favorite (we always have a favorite !)
When I tested the rackets, the favorite one was strung ok the other (the one the customer didn't get on with) was strung with a 30Ib difference between the right and left side of the racket, Hmm no wonder he didn't like it.
Strung both rackets at 60Ibs as requested,
The newer racket is heavier by 15 gram and 2 points head heavy, So I could only balance the newer racket to match the old.
The customer is now a happy tennis player once again!
Note: The same rackets can be have more than a 10% difference in balance and weight, so if you have two rackets and one plays better than the other it could be that one racket is different not you!
