Having just moved back to the Southport area I did some research into the Membership cost of the Tennis clubs.

Lost for ideas for a Christmas present or stocking filler!
What about purchasing a restring, Plus grip replacement and a can of tennis balls all for £25 You can use the "Contact tab" to prebook your order and pay using the PayPal donate button on the front page of the website. I can do the same for Squash or Badminton (without the Tennis balls!) so restring and grip for £20 Hope this helps! daveg I have been working on two of the earlier Powerangle rackets this month.
The first is an Powerangle 115, The task was to increase the swing weight to around 333 kg from 318 kg, This was to improve the "plough through" when playing with heavier tennis balls. I added the required weight to the head / throat area of the racket, gave the racket back to the owner and he was very impressed with the difference. Serves / drives are now going deeper and the volleys are still crisp. The second racket was a Powerangle 102 same task to increase the swing weight from 314 kg to around 333 kg. The weight was added to the head and throat area again, same result serves / drives deeper and still able to manage the racket on the volleys. So remember if you like your frame but you want something extra, like making it more stable on miss hits, or just to change the balance you don't have to go out and buy a new racket. Custom it ! If it's good enough for the Pro's to get their rackets matched and customised, Then it's good enough for you. Daveg Today we went on court and it started raining hard, very hard. We looked up and there was some patches of "blue" sky so only showers. The rain stopped and we went back on court, took out a can of Head Instinct balls (had been used the day before!) Started playing these balls where great, didn't pick up a lot of water and the balls stayed light (not heavy when wet!) The biggest point is these balls are only £2 a can (4 balls) from Amazon (Millets) I have ordered another 10 cans for the winter :- Hope this helps! Daveg |
