Both rackets will be strung at 52Ibs using my Wise electronic tension using constant pull.
Right both rackets done and looking good, waiting for the weather to clear up.
Will let you know how I get on after I have played.
Just had a question emailed "Why do I play with Powerangle rackets?"
Ok I use the Centric 102 sized rackets because is has the correct amount of spin, power and control for me, the biggest plus is the lack of vibration which means you feel more. Both my brothers use the Grand as they like the bigger head size, all of players who I know that have changed to the powerangle rackets have never changed back to a normal racket.
The other plus side is the strings last longer because of the angle and tighter weave of the strings.
If you have a chance to demo one have a go (as with all demo rackets make sure you demo it with a freshly strung racket if possible.)
Remember do not buy a racket without demoing it first! Also buy the racket without strings and get a fresh restring done to your specifications. (you never know how long ago the racket in the shop or on-line was strung it could have been over 6 months ago!)
Rain stopped sunny and dry (astro courts wet /damp due to the amount of rain)
Used Head Instinct balls because of the wet courts, balls ok and a good 3 sets of men's doubles.
The Powerangle with Pro's Pro Devil Spin (yes this is my go to string) Boom back in the groove with touch, control power and spin, I had forgotten how good this combination was (been testing other strings)
Yep this string really works well with the Powerangle and the way I play, It was like coming back to your home after being away for a time!
Played the same day and conditions with the MSV Focus Hex soft this string is as good if not better that the Devil Spin but I cannot tell you why I just prefer the Devil Spin, It just is more "positive" I suppose I mean it really goes were I want it to!
