Some questions that I get asked often about racket stringing!

Q: Can I use my own string?
A: yes no problem, the cost if you supply the string is £10 per restring

Q: Will you replace just the broken string?
A: No this will not be done by any professional stringer, once a string breaks the whole string bed has relaxed and has to be replaced with a full restring at the correct tension or your racket frame integrity will suffer.

Q:What happens if I don't like the string?
A: I will work with you before I restring a racket to get the best combination possible within your price range, I will always try to match your style with the right string combination for you.

Q: How long should my strings last?
A: For tennis:It all depends on your style of play and the string type you select, but the question you should ask is " How long will the string stay in it's playing tension range?" and the answer to that is in Playing hours:

1.  Polyester based string is really good for ten (10) hours.  Add two (2) hours to this if you are using a non-polyester in a hybrid configuration.

2.. Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) , Zyex string is good for thirty (30) hours.

3.  Nylon based strings are good for thirty (30) hours.

4.  Natural gut strings are good for thirty-five (35) hours.
