After checking out the reviews and specifications of the string I just have to give it a go.
It's a medium-stiff poly so you need to drop the tention by about 4-5 pounds / 1.5kg , stringing is fine the square shape is or can be difficult at times but hey it's a poly.
It's also a 1.23 mm gauge string which is bigger than I normally use. With my powerangle I can go down to 1.10mm and still not snap a string.
I will play with it tomorrow and see what it's like.
Ok Saturday Club afternoon of mixed and men's doubles, balls are ex match balls, not as bad as normal.
First impression: not as much spin as I was expecting but it's not bad. The control and comfort is there and I can hit with a full swing and the balls are not flying out, so good far.
Second set of doubles is a men's and we are hitting alot harder and I can match them, the spin is now coming and the balls are still staying in. Comparing this to Devil Spin I would say it hasn't got the same amount of spin but it has the comfort / control/ feel. I think the tension maintenance will be better than the Devil Spin (I will have to wait and see)
I think this string is going to grow on me and will become another " very good Spin string"
If it was a smaller guage string I think it would be better (for me)
I will keep playing with it and we shall see.
I did string it at 50Ibs and had no issue, it dropped to 49Ibs after 24 hours.
